Property Description

Welcome to Herringbone Hall, a beautiful North Laguna Beach home in the best location! Under 5 minutes walk to sand, Main Beach, restaurants, art museum, galleries, grocery, shops, and ocean-view trails for hiking, biking or running. This artfully designed and updated French-inspired home has Central A/C and offers the epitome of refined coastal living. Expansive front yard leads to a huge back patio with a garden, fabulous for entertaining with a grill, fire table, and outdoor lighting. Inside, original Dutch doors with stained glass panels open to a stunning entry with vaulted ceilings. The living room highlights herringbone walnut floors and custom arches. The living room features a hand-painted Georgian-style mantel surrounding the wood-burning fireplace, a spacious Restoration Hardware leather sofa, chair, and chaise lounge. The arches lead to an open dining room, with round table seating up to 8. Chef's kitchen has a breakfast bar, an 8-burner stove, double ovens, Amazonite countertops, white cabinets with French brass accents, wood floors, and a custom pantry with large fridge, coffee station and beverage fridge. Handcut Moroccan tile and imported lighting add charm. The first floor also offers a large guest suite with separate entrance and outside patio, beamed ceilings, wooden floors and white marble bathroom, choice of white twin beds or Cal King bed, marble table with chairs, armoire, large bookcase, blackout drapes. Three upstairs bedrooms have vaulted ceilings and two baths. First is the charming wallpapered room with a twin daybed, and a sit/stand desk with quality chair and printer. Second is a full bed with dresser, closet, and a custom staircase leading to a loft with ocean view seating. Third is a master suite, with French doors on a private balcony with hillside views, a romantic canopy bed with curtains, and a large walk-in closet. The large ensuite bathroom has a double soaking tub, shower, imported lighting, mirror with makeup lighting, cabinets, a deep storage closet, and windows that offer the nightly sound of waves and ocean breezes. Park in the two-car garage or one of two extra spaces, and walk everywhere or jump on Laguna's free trolley. Easy airport access makes this an ideal residence or vacation home, with a short drive to Newport Coast, Corona del Mar, Newport Beach and premier shopping at Fashion Island or South Coast Plaza.
